UPDATE: The store is open again, Apple has released a 32GB version of the iPod Touch priced $499 as well as a 16GB of the iPhone priced $499. Still no new MacBook Pros. More here

Apple has temporarily closed its U.S. online store a few minutes ago, sign of new updates? The company usually releases new products on Tuesdays so we can suppose this is not just a maintenance downtime.

The usual "We are busy updating the store for you and will be back shortly" message appears on a yellow post-it.

Apple is expected to update its MacBook Pro lineup. Though we shouldn't expect the linup to become ultra-thin as the recently released MacBook Air, it should bring speed-boosts and the Multi-touch trackpad allowing to manipulate the user interface with multiple finger gestures. We can also expect a redesigned keyboard similar to the Air's and other small feature and design improvements.

Stay tuned as we'll keep you updated as soon as the store reopens.
