In a SEC (Security and Exchange Commission) Form published on August the 26th Apple announced that it had signed an agreement with its PowerPC G4 chips supplier, Freescale (former Motorola chips (division). The terms of the agreement are more flexible for Apple than for Motorola though.

According to NBC 17, Chatham County Schools have chosen Apple's iBooks for their teachers and students. The deal involves the delivery of 1000 to teachers for this year. Then, within the next several years, each of the 7400 students will have their laptop.
