Citing the Chinese Commercial Times, Digitimes reports that Apple will launch 4GB and 6GB iPod shuffles later this year. However, Digitimes has not been very reliable in the past and it would sound a bit surprising if Apple released a 6GB iPod shuffle.

According to MacRumors, Apple could release new XServes soon. The report comes from an anonymous source, claiming that he has received an order status update for an XServes order, saying "Replaced with new product".

Taloussanomat.fi published earlier today an article claiming that Nokia's N91 mobile phone would work with iTunes. However, Reuters reports that Nokia denied that there is any agreement with Apple.

Apple has posted version 1.1 of the Security Update 2005-001 through the Software Update utility. The first version (1.0) which was released on Monday had broken 64 bit support, preventing some applications such as Wolfram Research's Mathematica from running.

According to MacBidouille (1, 2), Apple's Mac OS X x86 developer kit can run on any Intel based PC. However you have to make some mods or use VMware which will emulate the proper environment required by Apple’s developer kit.

Four days only after the launch of its iTunes Music Store in Japan, Apple announced that it had sold over 1 million songs, becoming the first online music store in Japan in record time.
